Rewatched Aug 05, 2019

Lee Van Cleef adds so much to this film. Eastwood is cool on his own, but having Van Cleef to play off of makes for a much more entertaining dynamic. It also helps that this one is more consistently engaging than A Fistful of Dollars; it never really drags despite being longer, and Leone already feels more assured than before. That final duel is a thing of beauty.
