If you've seen the last 20 minutes of Silence of the Lambs, Longlegs is essentially that for the entire runtime. Incredible tension building, gorgeous visuals, great performances from Monroe, Cage, Witt & Shipka. There are a few plot things that don't make sense once you're removed from the world of Longlegs, but it's so captivating that you can mostly write them off as nitpicks. Go in blind if you can.
UPDATE: This has me checking around the corners of my house to make sure Longlegs didn't break in. It's storming and I feel like Harker in that log cabin scene. God damn, man. Watch this film.
