This is the best action film ever and you cannot tell me any different. It looks absolutely gorgeous on the big screen and is one of the wildest, craziest, and most fun cinematic roller coasters I’ve had in a long time. Definitely needed this rewatch after the 2 years since I first saw it. The score, color grading, VFX, choreography, and cinematography—😍😍😍😍😍

I like to think that if Louis Le Prince was alive today to see this movie, he would watch it and begin to weep as he gazes at the peak evolution of his invention. This movie is a spectacle action like I’ve never seen. It feels so real because it is so real. The time, precision, effort and technique that was put into so much of this being practical makes me so happy. This should be the precedent of how to do action going forward. Everything from the drum beat of the score lining up with the punches, to the acrobatic flamethrower rigs blasting at oncoming trucks just makes for an amazing time. Fantastic.
“If Marty's right and movies really are divided into an amusement park and a smart person place like I don't know... a library? This is the best ride at the amusement park. It's not smart and it doesn't try to be, and the best part is that all the "film people" can leave the library for a few hours and have a great time on the amusement park's most thrilling ride.I'm also slightly disturbed by this movie because, during it, I thought, "This weirdly reminds me of Happy Feet" and surprise surprise, it's the same director.” - Ryan” -Luke
