Firstly ALL of you perra's need to go watch Mama's 2 new videos from "The Tonight Show": Video 1 and Video 2
Now I ended up watching this since I was playing Black Myth Wukong (even though I said I was shelving it due to bad optimization and performance issues) but I am addicted to it. So I ended up being on a boss for 40 minutes and got to the point of wanting to smack down someone's uncle and smash my monitor while I was at it... I turned this on and this film calmed me down.🤣
My favorite character in both films HAS to be the little ANGER emotion. Before I got into reviewing films I knew I had some what of an anger problem and an attitude problem but with me going through some of my older reviews, especially films that really piss me off, it truly shows I got some bad anger problems along with a serve attitude problem that is somewhat toxic at times. Sooooooooo that's why I love the little man ANGER in both films! Me and him get along very well in my head along!
Yeah.... I don't know about this one. Like compared to the first, the sequel felt a little rushed with the new emotions not having enough time to stand their ground and for us to know them a little better. Anxiety is basically like how Joy was in the first film and the other emotions were okay, nothing special, to me anyways. It was an awesome concept for them taking Riley through puberty though, jeez when I went through puberty I was a menace and I started weight lifting at that age (13) so I really didn't struggle with anxiety or embarrassment. The animation was very sexy and stunning and the pacing felt A LITTLE TOO rushed. Everything else was decent!
Even though this felt like a little bit of a weaker sequel compared to the first, it's still decent in story wise. Taking Riley through puberty and showing all the changes with emotions were pretty cool. I guess some people will relate to Riley with having anxiety, but not me... I didn't feel related to her once to be honest. Still cool follow up to the first though! Just felt a little too rushed.
Anxiety annoyed the HELL OUT OF ME, every time this emotion was on screen it made my head so annoyed and I wanted to pick up my monitor and throw it out the window. Same goes for Embarrassment, ANNOYED THE HELL OUT OF ME! Boredom was dope though with that fancy accent. Still Anger remains my favorite character in both films! Little man anger.
Overall an alright sequel compared to the first film. The pacing felt a little too rushed and went by way too fast, the newer emotions didn't have enough time to stand their ground and for us to get to know them. The story is a good follow up to the first film though and the animation style is beautiful. sexy and stunning!
