Well I went to watch Subservience today since it released in my country and I said; why not go watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice again? SO I DID JUST THAT. This is round 3! Each time I enjoy it more and more. Astrid is an awesome character and I can't wait to edit her when this hits digital in a few months.
The one thing that stands out more and more to me with each rewatch, is ; sure the story isn't something impressive nor does it carry the film but still it's fun, goofy and it catches your attention throughout the film. The side characters I hardly care for and the only characters I DO CARE FOR are Astrid, Lydia and Juice. I wish Delores wasn't so underdeveloped and I felt like with all theses new characters being added, it was harder to see what to do with "BOB" but atleast he got few scenes even if it wasn't much!
This year IS THE KING of; birthing sequences and badass sandworms! Still The First Omen takes first place for the most stuffed up birthing scene.
