Post Furiosa and how did George Miller make this film even more better? He is our greatest today. It's clear this is Furiosa's story and she's probably the most well developed character in all these Mad Max tales. But fuck Max is just one of my favourite movie characters ever. He lives, he dies and he lives again! He's destined to walk this wasteland and help those who need it. And for the first time I cried when Max revealed his name to Furiosa. Because it the obvious sense he feels connected to her and cares. But it's also Max hiding from his past, his failures to not be able to save everyone. He's redeeming himself and giving himself hope! I can't get over that 3rd act action sequence, like there's nothing better than that. The sheer coordination and commitment in every department is amazing. The way there is no breathing and everything keeps amping up. I always lock in and lean forward when the dudes on the poles rock into the action.
