Dear Kathleen and David,
I can only imagine the pain that you must have felt. Your son was your world and he was taken away from you. Not by nature, but by fate and hate. Your souls would have been shattered. Your World must have come crashing upon you. But with pain comes God’s gift. It was like Paradise Regained. You had a chance to see your son in a different human being. A cute little new born can do miracles to a scarred soul. I know it would have felt like heaven after all the excruciating pain that you both had gone through. But then, that also was not to last. Heaven became hell in one single fateful day. You went through pain which no human should, not once but twice over. I can only imagine your insufferable pain. Even the thought of how you both would have felt makes my heart ache and shed tears. But you did not stop there. You did not sit and mourn for the rest of your lives. You went out there and wanted the world to know what had happened to you. You wanted nothing like this to happen to anyone ever again. It is the insurmountable determination stemmed from your undying love for you son and grandson that has made you survive. You will always have my highest respects and my sincere love forever. Andrew might not be with you now, Zachary might not be with you now, but your courage, unwavering love and determination to fight for justice not for you but for others like you has earned you the respect and admiration of millions around the world. You raised a child who was loved, whose memories were, still and forever cherished by so many people, whose death brought uncontrollable tears to loved ones, who is sorely missed even by those people who were remotely connected to him. The legend and the foot print of Andrew’s memories will always be ingrained in their hearts. So will be their love for you.
Do not ever think there is no one left for you in the world to live for. You have so many people around you who love more than you can ever know. Millions around the world whose faces you do not even know, like me, love you. Remember, You still have Children.
Love,
Peaceful
PS, Kurt Kuenne, this is the best tribute a person can ever pay to his friend and his family. Your film touched my heart, made me smile, crushed my soul afflicting it with pain and made me bleed tears. I salute the loyalty and the pains you have taken to make this film. I salute you.
