Lots of overhead camera shots, asymmetrical and oblique compositions—kinda feels like the filmmaker is throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, but it does create a herky-jerky sense of anxiety, as do the performances. Little girl was pretty creepy. Very much a Shyamalan vibe to the whole thing, except it doesn’t feel the need to resolve everything at the end, which I appreciate. Not bad holiday viewing!
