A Spider-Man movie that doesn’t replay the same old origin story over and over just because we have a new or different Spider-Man? YAY! Ok, for real though this is a great. This gives us a really good story and an excellent variety of web slinging heroes to cheer for. The music is very good and really becomes an integral part of the action. I enjoyed the voice work by the whole cast.
Mahershala Ali is great voicing the Prowler. Lots of good work done by Zoe Kravitz, Nicholas Cage, Chris Pine, John Mulaney, and Lily Tomlin. Shameik Moore especially steps up with his voice work for Miles Morales/Spider-Man. Finally, the animation is fantastic. It’s really great work here bringing to life various heroes from different universes and showing us the world that Miles Morales lives in. This is an excellent new kind of Spider-Man tale that has long been over due.
