La La Land 2016

★★★★½

I've never really been one for musicals, until La La Land... Just absolutely beautiful. Damien Chazelle takes you through a roller coaster of emotions through laughter, love, heartbreak and anger. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are just perfect together. The choreography was top notch and the singing (while a little too obviously dubbed) was wonderful to watch as well. This is one of my top picks of the year and could very easily take the Oscar for Best Picture.
