Having the real Nevenka in attendance and having to pass her on my way out of the screening is one of the most harrowing and haunting experiences of my life.
A thriller pulled so tight that at any point it could completely snap. Electricity in every frame as we tussle with what at every obviously behaviours being allowed to continue. Why should I care? It’s not happening to me. I’m flourishing by keeping quiet! Maybe you should do the same! The old vs new, those that have got their feet under the table and resistant to any change at the risk of their own livelihood vs those that see what change needs to be made and know exactly how to make it.
A sadly timeless film.
