I was more impressed than I was moved by it. It's dramatic potential was muted a bit by the lingering nature stuff. At least Malick managed to make both co-exist. Also, the dialogue feels a little too modern for something that's set hundreds of years ago.
That all said, the performances were no less stellar despite those problems. And I've not seen a harsh winter this immersive since The Grey.
