hey so these are my favorite kinds of movies but unfortunately they also make me sob a whole lot !! was not expecting to cry in this so i feel bamboozled & swindled !! thanks a lot megan park !!
tons of fun with a whole lot of heart. there are some really great performances here, and i did audibly laugh at some stuff. the dialogue is so natural and teenagey and i'm so here for it—women writing women ftw!! also so many niche literally me references...any movie with a character whose job is literally just loving saoirse ronan is a winner in my book.
i was talking to a friend earlier this week about how i feel like i live in this weird window between perpetual nostalgia and anticipatory grief. it can be so tough to be present when you're so dwelling on the past or terrified of the future, but i think each day is about choosing just to be and feel. this movie captures that pretty well.
