The Shawshank Redemption is my favourite film, so I surprised even myself with how long it took me to watch Darabont’s other major feature film: The Green Mile. There’s something about 3 hour films that is so off putting. Yet, this film is one of the best 3 hour experiences you will ever have in front of a screen. I know it’s a lot, but to anyone who is reading this, if you haven’t seen the film, watch it. Make a time to watch it, clear your schedule for a few hours and lose yourself in the magic of film. I got recommended to watch this by Ells and I’m passing the suggestion on to any of my followers who reads this. It’s spectacular. You won’t regret it.
