Sorry but there is no world where de-aged Tom Hanks and Robin Wright are convincingly 18 years old (even then it was off putting until they reached about 40). The movie was sweet I guess but god just cast younger actors!!!! I was never going to be able to suspend my disbelief enough to buy Paul Bettany as older than Tom Hanks. I think the idea of this movie is really interesting in theory but it should’ve been a short film, there’s just not enough here (no pun intended) to fill out a feature length film. Also some of the historical points that were (and weren’t) included were bizarre choices.
But whatever, moms are going to love this movie (mine did).
