Finally finished this. I feel like the other documentary I watched really showed how Miyazaki was one piece of the Ghibli puzzle--this documentary gets really hamfisted about situating Miyazaki as a tortured genius which I found a bit tiresome at times. He's a genius but also just a man grappling with his fear of old age. Insane to have the animator behind Evangelion on your team and then criticize him!!
