I saw this as part of the Chicago International Film Festival. It was shot so beautifully! Sascha Rainbow is very talented. She said she had a small makeup and effects budget but you couldn't really tell. Fun and gross! Perfect for movie lovers who thought The Substance was too French. Impeccable acting all around. The script fell flat for me at times but I found Wei's character arc and Chinese identity very compelling.
