The perfect coming-of-age film. It encapsulates the loss of identity, the shedding of youth, and the melancholy yet necessity of independence with charm, grace, and subtlety. Something very simple and quaint on the surface that says tons without having to spell out anything. By the end you'll already be looking back at the film's beginning with nostalgia for a bygone era.
