I'm sick of this. Not every movie needs a sequel?! When you don't have a good idea, just don't make it. The quirky and weird stuff of the second is just a rehash of the first. The humor was terrible, the jokes in this were so painfully awful. I genuinely think I laughed more at Megamind 2. The scenes with Dafoe's character were so painfully unfunny and stupid that I stopped watching that day. I was already mad at how mad this film made me, but that was the limit. How in earth do you fuck up Willem Dafoe in your movie. The "humor" was so out of place with him and the movie overall. Felt like I was watching a version of the movie made by a teenager. Which is funny, coming from me. I mean why were all those influencers in that church scene? Does Burton actually think that's funny? I hope not.. The entire plotline of Delores was very out of place. It made the movie around ten times more confusing. She's being set up as this crazy threat, but all she does is walk around and killing random people so sexually. Subplotlines were a problem in general. The teenager relationship was so poorly written and useless. All of what the hell happened with that and the direct and indirect consequences of the relationship were because Jenna's character was dumb and didn't focus on traffic, so she crashed into a random treehouse with the most uninteresting guy ever... Those two plotlines alone didn't need to be in this and made the movie so unbearably messy. Because of those plotlines, the pacing of this thing was also very bad. The last 3 minutes were so stupid too. All in all, this was a huge waste of time. I really hope we aren't getting a third movie. I don't even see how Burton wants to make that, if he's directing...
