“That’s LA. They worship everything and they value nothing.”
This movie changed my life and not just because of the way Ryan Gosling pronounces “barista.” It used to be my favorite movie for a while. And then I moved to LA and this movie became a tender subject for me for some reason. I drove past The Lighthouse Cafe everyday on my way to and from work and never went. I just couldn’t.
But it came out four years ago today so I decided to watch it again for the first time in a while. And it’s still perfect. And I still love it. Uuugggghhhh aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
