I literally cannot put into words how fucking good this movie is. The stark contrast of glamorised LA and the real world - a clash that is used to really masterfully weave a narrative for a heartbreaking film about how actual relationships work. The musical part of this film is the glamorised Hollywood part, and it articulates the dreams which motivates every inch of the film with some dropdead gorgeous cinematography.
Dear God, what a movie.
