i really enjoyed this. it was definitely slow, which i initially didn't mind since i thought it was adding to the overall atmosphere, but at one point i started to struggle with it. however, the story was so intriguing, it started fairly simple but then took a more surreal route, leaving me somewhat confused which is something that i'm okay with and tend to appreciate. what i loved the most though was the perfectly unsettling atmosphere, the eerie play with shadows, and the visuals. this film had some of the most gorgeous, creepy, dreamlike visuals, and i absolutely adored that.
