Shane Black's The Nice Guys (2016) is highly entertaining and 2 hours flies by mainly because you are having fun.
There are a few "belly laugh" moments but The Nice Guys (2016) mostly has a lot of chuckles in-between and during the action sequences.
If you enjoyed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) there is no reason why you wouldn't like this film either.
The cast is excellent, obviously Crowe and Gosling but the secondary characters play a vital part as well.
According to IMDB: The project was initially proposed as a TV series but was re-tooled as a film after the pilot seemed to be going nowhere.
This is pretty evident and the film screams sequels.
