I LOVE "LA LA LAND". it's a love letter to people like me, who think to quiet their dreams because life is to cruel. i really think that Damien Chazelle want into my head and just made the movie of my dream. i personally love muscles and sure i fully aware of the bad ones (rock of ages, the Lorax). "LA LA LAND" is the best muscle i ever saw in my life. it's smart, it's beautiful, it's funny, it's sad and most of all humanness.
do i really need to talk about Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. they are mostly the one who carrying this movie on their back. i mean they are so good together. i believed them in every scene from their low moments to the highest moments.
the music, my god, the music is so beautiful to listen to. in my free time i am going to listen to this music again and again and again and again. the sets are just pretty, i really want to live in "LA LA LAND", that or "moonrise kingdom". the cinematography and the lighting are just of of many important things that brings "LA LA LAND" to life.
"LA LA LAND" is old hollywood at his best. creating not only a good satire about muscles (now everyone who hates musicales are running to the cinemas). it also a damn good one. proving us that it's okay to chasing our dreams and it's okay to fall sometimes, during this process. Damien, i hope that i will see more of you and god, i know that i did not talked to you since my review of "the brand new testament". but thank you so much for listening to me and bringing me something fresh and new.
