Sam Raimis Spider-Man funktioniert immer noch erstaunlich gut. Ich hatte richtig Spaß mit dem Film, sogar deutlich mehr als früher. Es gibt zu Beginn 2-3 cringy Momente und auch einen bösen CGI-Fauxpax, aber in der Folge ist der Film echt klasse.Tobey Maguire und Willem Dafoe liefern sich ein wunderbares Duell. Kein Klamauk, viele Emotionen, für 2002 erstaunlich stark getrickst (besser als viele Blockbuster, die Jahre später veröffentlicht wurden), gut gespielt (bis auf Kirsten Dunst und James Franco) und wirklich gut erzählt mit gelungenem Timing. Dazu kleine Auftritte von Elizabeth Banks, Octavia Spencer, Lucy Lawless und Bruce Campbell. Für mich gemeinsam mit dem Sequel bis heute der beste Spider-Man Film.

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man still works amazingly well. I really enjoyed the movie, even more than before. There are 2-3 cringy moments at the beginning and also a nasty CGI faux pax, but as a result the film is really great.Tobey Maguire and Willem Dafoe deliver a wonderful duel. No gore, lots of emotion, amazingly well-tricked for 2002 (better than many blockbusters released years later), well-acted (except for Kirsten Dunst and James Franco) and really well-told with great timing. Plus small appearances by Elizabeth Banks, Octavia Spencer, Lucy Lawless and Bruce Campbell. For me, together with the sequel, the best Spider-Man film to date.
