Texas Chainsaw Massacre is never an easy watch, especially when it gets to back half of the film. That’s not saying it’s a bad film at all, it just means it’s doing it’s job. Leatherface is such an insanely complex character and it’s a shame that none of the sequels have been able to dive deeper into what his psyche is like. It would probably never happen, but I would love a psychological horror/thriller/drama about this family and how they’ve come to be.
