This movie handles exposition better than just about any movie I’ve seen. Any other movie would stop for dialogue explaining concepts like the bloodbags, the spray paint, etc. Fury Road just shows them to us in action and trusts that we’ll understand.
Every time I watch Fury Road I half expect it to have lost its luster ever so slightly, but it never happens. I still find it as invigorating and emotional an experience as any I’ve had this decade.
