liked wicked, it was such a fun movie to watch, the colors on the set were just right, not too bright and not too dull, which made everything feel magical without being overwhelming. i went in not knowing how the wicked play goes, so the story felt fresh and surprising, even though i was familiar with defying gravity thanks to glee lol. ariana and cynthia were amazing, and ariana was good as the mean girl was she being herself idk. cynthia brought so much emotion to the movie, the ball scene actually made me cry.

the songs were a hit or miss for me, i really loved what is this feeling and of course defying gravity, but the rest didn’t really hit. also the defying gravity scene was good, but it felt so stretched out, and i wished they had kept it shorter. it lowkey took away from how powerful the moment should've been.

for a 160-minute movie, this could have been shorter for sure, some parts dragged a little, but overall i still had so much fun watching it. the performances, the visuals, and the moments really made it magical.
