honestly didn’t really expect to love the wild robot as much as i did. i usually dont watch movies that go too heavy on feel good themes, but this one kinda surprised me. from the start, i was captivated. the animation was stunning, with the dreamy vibes that made everything on screen come alive. the colors were so vibrant and beautiful, which made it totally immersive. and the characters are an absolute joy. fink, especially, had me laughing, very lovable character who really brings a spark to the story.
the journey that the film takes you on is so moving. from beginning to end, it’s filled with heartfelt themes and characters who feel genuinely memorable. it’s rare to find a story that balances humor and melodrama as well as this one does. and the soundtrack! it’s amazing, every big moment is heightened by the music that just give you goosebumps, even when i wasn’t tearing up from sadness, the scenes just felt magical and deeply emotional to not cry.
ngl, the third act didn’t really hit like the rest of the movie. it wasn’t bad, but the first two acts were so creative and fun that made the ending just feel basic. the whole "all the animals living together in harmony" thing, it didn’t feel super fresh and lowkey took me out of it. honestly, they should’ve just stuck with the self-discovery vibe, that part was already good enough.
But overall It was a good watch, very emotional, and 100% worth a watch.
