It’s kind of crazy that really my only gripe with a movie as long and as dense as this is that it could have used a bit more time to flesh out some of Oppenheimer’s relationships and his backstory. Other than that, this is Nolan at his absolute best. Murphy is also easily the best lead performance Nolan has ever gotten, and Blunt and RDJ are phenomenal supporting actors. This is probably the most epic any of Nolan’s films has ever felt too, and every line of dialogue seems to have a real weight to it. Left the movie feeling exhausted, but in the best way.
