MUBI Picks at Posteritati is a series where we bring special guests to the prestigious movie art gallery in New York City to discuss their favorite movie posters of all time.

Annie Baker’s directorial film debut JANET PLANET is now in theaters, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright met us at Posteritati to discuss her wide-ranging cinematic taste. Topics of discussion include: a recent life-changing viewing experience with Jean Eustache’s THE MOTHER AND THE WHORE, a vested interest in Polish poster art (like in the cases of a grotesquely beautiful rendering of BROADCAST NEWS and TO BE OR NOT TO BE), and classics from Weerasethakul and Erice.
