"Child's Play" is without a doubt one of the most ridiculous films I've ever seen. When a notorious serial killer is cornered in a toy shop, he magically transports his soul into a near-by 'good-guy' doll and begins to exact revenge on his old partner and the cop who 'killed' him.
It's not really scary or bloody, but it is a tonne of fun! I liked the more murder mystery aspect of it (until they find out it's Chucky, then it's not quite as good) and considering this was made in 1988 the effects look fantastic. It's nothing extraordinary, just a very fun, extremely un-serious slasher-y time. They put a 6 year old in prison and that's not even the most daft thing here!!!
