Death is everywhere in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and it’s never been more fun putting a whole lot of laughter in the after.
I don’t have any attachments to the original, and I’ve never even been a huge fan, but I loved everything about this legacy-sequel. Jenna Ortega is a fantastic new addition, while the returning cast of Ryder, Keaton, and especially O’Hara are sharp as ever.
Tim Burton also seems to be sharpening up in a world he clearly has a blast playing around in. The comedy works exceptionally well, and the wacky world building never lets up. That being said, let’s never return to this world again. We’ve used up all our good movie titles.
