A live action Looney Tunes episode done in the style of low budget B&W slapstick comedy perfection, with phenomenally creative visual storytelling that gets increasingly wacky and violent and never manages to feel stagnant or repetitive. Oh, baby.

As a kid, I had volumes upon volumes of cartoons like this and would promptly fire them up without hesitation at 6am every Saturday morning if they weren’t already airing on Boomerang (Roadrunner vs. Coyote ones were my favorite). So, uh, yeah, this shit couldn’t be more whimsically Matt!-coded if it had ooey gooey body horror and an egregious amount of bare-nakey boobies to boot.

Somewhere up in heaven, Charlie Chaplin and Bugs Bunny are high-fiving and gleefully thumbing their nose at each other.
