One of the greatest movies pre-1950. Everything about this movie feels classic. The plot, the dialogue, the ending, and the whole feeling about it. Though it doesn't feel like it in the beginning, the ending of this movie is probably the most Christmas movie ending I've ever seen and never fails to bring joy into my day.
Also I would also like to point out that I did watch the colorized version of this movie. Though I am generally against any post-release tweaking with a film (Star Wars I am looking at you), this movie's colorization is so good, that it feels weird to look at the B&W version right afterward. If I do rewatch this again, it will be in the B&W version, but if you haven't ever watched the colorized version of this movie, I would reccomend to at least try it for a rewatch. It is amazing how there is little to no issues with the coloring.
