The Menu

I waited a long time to see this movie, but it was definitely worth it.

The film starts very quickly and draws us gradually into the action, which is intense until the very end, that is, the last scene, and all this thanks to a perfectly written script, which has so much, and brilliantly conveys everything into a very intriguing horror satire, full of layers, which are gently unwrapped, through very tasty and rich meals. The dishes from the menu are described through specific themes, and thus slowly reveal to us the plot, and the very purpose of all the characters and their occupations, each individually.

We really have a lot of characters, of which of course the most stand out; Anna Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes. Their characters are completely contradictory, and that's how they create that psychological relationship and intensity in relationships. Ana Taylor-Joy really does an excellent job of portraying a character who is not really interested in the environment and art, but simply has her own natural style and morality, which she uses to carry herself. Ralph Fiennes perfectly embodies the psychologically obsessive character, for whom perfection is the first priority. His character is phenomenally written, and through his light and calm speech, facial expressions and body movements, he just looks perfectly creepy. The rest of the team was also good, but not at the level of these two.

Certainly a surprisingly excellent film with a very original plot, which is full of various psychological events between the characters, all thanks to a cleverly written script.

P.S. The cheeseburger looks really good and delicious, and my appetite has skyrocketed, lol. The other dishes did not attract my attention in the least, nor did they seem tasty, although they look creative and very carefully made.

My Rating: 8/10
