Turns out the biggest slog in the Harry Potter book series is an enjoyably zippy watch, dispensing as it does with most of the sub plots.
Imelda Staunton absolutely nails the role of Dolores Umbridge and watching Michael Gambon and Ralph Fiennes magic the bejeezus out of each other makes for a suitably OTT climax.
