HUH?? Why was this actually good? Ill keep it brief bc im sick of long reviews but first half was ROUGH city and I was ready to clock out but it reallly saved itself and turned itself around with the love interest boys introduction and things began to kick in. His compelte normalcy as the villain was so funny, Jenna’s character became lovable and played up, Winona is just being a weirdo in the best way, the dad was hot but needed more screentime, the manager was a fine villain, Monica lived served cunt and died.
The two highlights by far are Michael Keaton and Catherine O Hara. Both were at 120% the entire time and I could not get enough, I don’t know how Catherine managed to outdo her original performance but she did, I need to watch all of her discography immediately. Dafoe and Bob were also two unexpected but fun additions that kept me calling the movie stupid!
