There’s some interesting stuff here that unfortunately doesn’t add up to anything interesting by the end. The silence of the lambs comparisons are insane just because the killer gives her one helpful hint?? Main character did absolutely nothing for me, but apparently I’m stupid and she’s being controlled by a demon the entire movie until her head thing explodes so yeah sure whatever that explains why her character is exactly the same after that. BLEHHH!!! Nic Cage looked like he was from White Chicks. Why is his name Long legs he doesn’t have long legs??? Also why does the guy on the phone say “that thing isn’t my daughter” is he talking about the doll???? Too many cooks in the kitchen with this one as far as plot goes. Good job marketing team you fooled me Edit: just googled it and the director said the serial killer is named longlegs because he thought it “sounded cool.” One more edit: a picture of the president being the only really solid piece of set design to indicate the movie is in the 90’s was so funny. Like guys I can see that you put Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter shade 1 on main girl’s beautiful face that’s didn’t do that dewy stuff in the 90’s!!!!
