A Taste of Evil
White knuckle. Cooked flesh. And thus the slasher is born.
Underrated aspect? That sound design and editing. The constant shrieks, the constant churn of the chainsaw. Good lord does this one get the blood pumping.
For a film so indebted to its zeitgeist, it is also one stuck out of time. I wouldn't call my experience with this one "terror," but we're getting closer to finding out what means for me.
