TIFF 2024 - Film #19

A better story about the sacrifices that come with motherhood than Nightbitch could ever dream of being. 

The Wild Robot is a knock out of the park on all counts. Gorgeous animation (hand painted and then 3d animated!), a heartfelt story (playing out far better than I expected from the trailers), and music that gave me the same chills I felt in the flight scene in How to Train Your Dragon.

It’s a wonderful film. The way people overhyped Puss in Boots, all of it is true for this one.
