Rewatched 09 Jan 2018

It's definitely a new horror classic.

Carefully constructed and scary. It composes the scares in dread and paranoia, made more effective by the realistic and obsesive period detail. It uses impressively sound, music and cinematography. It's also a curious family drama and a powerful analogy of female liberation.
