This film is frustrating on so many levels. 

A movie that is exceptionally well-made with great performances can only get you so far. This is a long-awaited sequel that no one involved really wanted to make. But since it was made, I’m trying to figure out who it was made for. It is a film that feels like it’s trying to alienate it’s core audience. 

This was messy, derivative, boring, incoherent, underwhelming, & not at all a fun time at the movies.

As much as I love & respect Joaquin Phoenix, & Lady Gaga…..he is not the Joker & she is certainly not Harley Quinn. They’re just two unstable & toxic people that will bum you out.

I guess the joke is on us.
