Sometimes, when I can’t sleep at night, I think back on my life and try to find bits and pieces that were meaningful and important…even if they didn’t seem so at the time. Not necessarily the “big” moments…like a graduation or the marriage ceremony…but the smaller, more personal and intimate ones. The last time I heard my dad sing “Cattle Call’. Some of the late summer days I helped my mother preserve juicy fresh peaches. My two babys’ first steps. My husband on one of the horses he loved. I want to think about and remember them forever.
And I also wonder what my life would have been if I had done anything different with it. Could I have been more important? Could I have made more money?
I know I’m not alone in these kinds of thoughts. They are universal with all of us. And they are touched on in this exquisite little gem of a movie. It does have some beautiful messages…live your life in a positive and grateful way. Love and be loved. There will be sadness but don’t let it keep you from finding joy.
Beautiful scenery, charming lead couple. All around wonderful movie. I loved it.
