three hours and an half worth it. i had started watching it several times but i always stopped at the first scene of saruman because it was too long. it's perfect. music, characters, action, plot. a fantasy classic from which everyone drew inspiration. tolkien literally created a world, more so than rowling and martin. everything here has a story, a family tree and more than a name. i have also watched the videos of "il trono del muori" where he also explains things that are not in the film but are in the book, in order to make it clearer. i fell in love with this world. tolkien takes you to remote and terrible places, mountains, rivers, caves, happy moments, scary secrets, castles, elves, ogres, gnomes and many others. and peter jackson understood the assignment. my favorite thing is the hobbit people, ignored and happy with it, not considered warriors or wizards, yet it will be one of them who will be destined to carry the burden of the destruction of the world. a little hobbit who won't be afraid to ask for help. let's move on to the fellowship of the ring. legolas who always defends the name of aragon. gandalf. boromir “my brother, my captain, my king”. the love story between aragorn and arwen (and the one between luthien and beren). sam, merry and pippin. gimli behavior with galadriel. this movie really warmed my heart
