Every time I plop myself down to write something mildly lucid and coherent about this movie, my brain goes full TV static and cuts to the shot of Patrick's thigh skidding to a halt…UNFFF. Hot diggidy damn am I’m high off thigh folks——I couldn’t help but shamelessly ogle at all that compact, impressively toned, sinewy goodness (might as well call him Patty Cake). I mean, other than exploring desire in every direction: Art and Patrick want Tashi, Tashi wants tennis, Tashi also kind of wants Patrick, Tashi sort of wants Art, Art and Patrick want each other, and on and on...this movie is purely about being ludicrously virile and attractive & ignoring consequences and that makes me squirm, vibrate and shed water.
Yes, Luca's ability to capture bodies in motion continues to make me very giddy.
Speaking of giddiness, and from whence that giddiness derived, that churros scene just did it for me. It was more sensual and belly-butterfly-inducing than a dozen enthusiastic thrusts in the latest Bridgerton (don't come for me Lady Whistledown). You GUYS!! The subtly smooth leg chair pull. The bridled unrequited yearning glazed green with the emerald embers of envy.

Patrick's mouth shimmying into a wide grin at Art's gall and gumption, Art affectionately dusting off sugar from Patrick's cheeks as it's granules slowly imbed into his deepened smile lines, smile lines like bracketed text messages you send to your 9th grade bestie when you tell her how much you love her (((( I luv u!!)))), smile lines
that are undoubtedly more present and pronounced in the presence of Art.
