the first two times i started watching this i couldn’t get past the scene where mia is auditioning for lots of roles back to back, and looking back im not sure why, i guess i just wasn’t in the mood for what i thought was just a musical with good cinematography… oh how i was wrong. seeing as i love chazelle’s whiplash so much i should’ve watched this sooner but here i am to say this movie was definitely as good as everyone says !! i now enjoy mia & sebastian’s theme even more than i did prior to watching la la land. (which funnily enough was still a lot…)
