Really happy with this one!
Going in I was expecting something good but I honestly didn't think I'd like it as much as I did. Maika Monroe's acting is far better than her role in It Follows, I was really happy with her little neurodivergent character and how she was played. Longlegs is outstanding, all round amazing performances from great actors. Some diaglouge was very awkward but it helped build suspense and was always in the right place. The symmetry in a lot of shots and the aspect ratio changes are very well placed. Overall the camera work is very well done from slow paning to quick jumps, everything feels in pace with the scene. The story honestly is still a little confusing but I love the mystery around everything.
This film to me is close to perfect! I'm really excited to rewatch this one!
