No matter how hard I once tried to say this movie was cheesy, sentimental and overplayed, or not on the same level as *insert award winning experimental foreign film* it doesn’t matter because the fact is that when I’m actually watching the film it succeeds in getting to me on an emotional level more than most films ever have.
