Takes a bit longer to hit its stride than Nolan’s earlier projects (especially compared to The Dark Knight) mainly due to the sheer amount of exposition needed to get the audience on board. And this movie is good with handing out information, but there’s so just so much of it that eventually beats you into submission until the actual heist begins and it becomes one of the best pieces or pop part in the last or really any decade. Nolan’s sense of spectacle is unmatched.
